MONTHLY FOOD DISTRIBUTION
We are currently collecting non-perishable food items, and community members are welcome to drop off donations at our location. This ongoing initiative supports families in the Highlandtown District by providing monthly food bags to those in need.
In addition to food distribution, we offer nutrition education to help families make healthy and affordable choices. The program serves around 65 families each month and depends on continuous support to provide food items and educational resources.
In 2025 alone, we distributed over 700 food bags. This is an ongoing effort to assist families facing uncertainty and hardship, in partnership with First Fruits Farm.
BACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVE
Every year, we collect and distribute backpacks filled with school supplies to students at Highlandtown Elementary/Middle Schools, helping them start the school year prepared and confident.
We invite you to be part of this mission by donating new backpacks and school supplies. Donations can be dropped off at our location Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, or anytime at the back door for your convenience.
In 2025, we were able to serve 250 students—and with your help, we hope to reach even more this year.

THANKSGIVING BASKETS
Each year, the Urban Life Center hosts a Thanksgiving Food Drive to support families in need within our community. This year, we are excited to expand our efforts and serve even more families than before.
As we prepare to put together Thanksgiving baskets for families in Highlandtown, we invite you to join us in making a difference. More details on how to participate, donate, or sponsor a family will be shared soon.

CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE
During the holiday season, our Toy Drive brings joy and holiday cheer to families in our community. We aim to ensure that every child has a special gift to unwrap on Christmas, brightening their holiday season and spreading hope and happiness. In 2025 we served 165 families and over 500 toys were delivered to children in Baltimore. In 2026 we would love to bless 600 children with gifts and smiles! Would you like to join us?
