JUICING FOR BEGINNERS
About: Juicing is a tasty way to enrich your body with essential vitamins and minerals, which can boost your energy, kick-start your metabolism, and set you on the path to wellness. Juicing for Beginners is your comprehensive workshop, with several easy recipes and all the nutritional information you need to get started. In simple, practical steps, you’ll learn the ins and outs of detoxes, cleanses, and healthy smoothies, along with profiles on the revitalizing properties of key juicing ingredients.

About: Do you want to take your influence and business further? Learning how to speak and have conversations in Spanish will do just that! In this course, you will learn the building blocks for speaking Spanish, including grammar, tenses, conjugations, and more.

NATURAL LIFESTYLE COOKING CLASS
About: With thousands of unique recipes and fun ways to prepare food, a plant-based diet is not restricted to tofu and salad. Natural Lifestyle Cooking Class provides a low-cost, training course filled with cooking demos, up-to-date information on diet crazes, and much more. Improving your health through simple, natural cooking is the emphasis of this dynamic educational experience.

ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE FOR BEGINNERS
About: Join a small group of peers and our instructor to level up your skills! Designed for students who English is their second language. Students will learn basic vocabulary, verb tenses, and be on a path to learning how to speak and read to carry on sentence dialog.

PREVENTING TYPE 2 DIABETES - A HEALTHIER YOU
About: Stress is the body’s response to a challenge or demand. Everyone experiences stress, which can be triggered by a range of events, from small daily hassles to major changes like a divorce or job loss. The stress response includes physical components such an elevated heart rate and blood pressure, thoughts and personal beliefs about the stressful event, and emotions, including fear and anger. Although we often think of it as being negative, stress can also come from positive changes in your life, like getting a promotion at work or having a new baby. While no one can avoid all stress, you can learn to handle it in healthy ways that increase your potential to recover. Dr. Shakes will guide you on this journey of emotional recovery.

The Urban Life Center 5K is a run/walk organized to raise funds for our Urban Life Center in Baltimore and to help its projects to serve the community in the area. In September 18, 2022, runners, youth, and families are invited to run/walk a 5K with us. Register, and support this awesome project in the heart of Eastern Ave in Baltimore!
